The Essential Guide to Arthritis
Out now!

The Essential Guide to Arthritis is packed with practical advice; expert opinion; first-hand experiences and top tips for coping. It covers the main arthritic conditions, such as osteo and rheumatoid, along with fibromyalgia, gout, lupus, polymyalgia rheumatica and ankylosing spondylitis.
With a positive tone, the book shows there’s life after an arthritis diagnosis and includes an interview with the leading arthritis charity, Arthritis Research UK, about the latest treatments available, and efforts to find a cure. There’s also a chapter on complementary therapies; advice on diet and exercise and a help list.
The book has been written by Norfolk-based writer, Gill Carrick, who developed reactive arthritis after a knee injury in 2010 and is now managing the after effects well.

Further information: you can buy a copy of The Essential Guide to Arthritis online (with a free ebook version) at; from bookshops or on Amazon

Gill Carrick, who has a personal interest in Arthritis and Polymyalgia Rheumatica, consulted us about this book and we were happy to point her in appropriate directions. 'Arthritis The Essential Guide' is very well presented and has a chapter on Polymyalgia Rheumatica reviewed by John Kirwan, Professor of Rheumatic Diseases at the University of Bristol.
